Welcome to our website. This website has been created to give people an insight to what is achieved at 'The Rescuers Wildlife Sanctuary', we hope that you will come back often to see what has been added to the website and keep updated as to what is happening at the sanctuary. Remember that you can visit us here online at anytime, as well as visit us at the sanctuary for a look around. Please use the links above to find out more about us and the wildlife in our care. If you find an injured Wild animal or bird you can bring it to the sanctuary during the day or you can phone for advice on how to care for the animal/bird to make it comfortable. Please note, it is preferred that small animals and birds are brought to us, although you can phone the sanctuary for one of our volunteers to come and collect larger animals. Remember that time taken to collect animals, means less time our volunteers have for caring for the animals we already have. We offer 24 hour emergency cover for animals in distress. You can visit the sanctuary for a walk around any day between 9am and 6.30pm but we usually advise people to come in the afternoons as cleaning is done mostly during the morning.
